In the interviews, I'd hear stuff like "we believe that making a totally new environment is a very passive way of making a sequel", which just doesn't make any sense for one thing, and now they're claiming that we'll appreciate different game modes rather than more playing area or extensions to the campaign? Are they fucking serious?
Don't try and play off your laziness like it's somehow benefitting us, guys. We bought your game, even though as far as sequels go, this one is pretty weak, because we love Crackdown.
Deluge better be goddamn exhilarating, all I'm saying. Also, fix the tank's gun. That pea shooter is pathetic.

Its tolerable I guess, but far from what I want.

Yeah, I was pretty pleased when this was revealed, but disappointed to hear that it had been dropped before release.
I would imagine that this is Deluge, and hopefully all this time has been used to refine and improve it, turning it into a big new mode before it's release as DLC. I'm just hoping it really is a big new addition, rather than a small little extra that was cut from the game simply to be released as premium DLC.
EazYC wrote:Oh no! The "horde" type gameplay has already been done to death in other games and, as Xstuz said, after playing the game during night, you'll basically get the same thing. I just hope Deluge is a story driven feature, with genuine missions that are all different in the way they are played. Variety in missions was sorely lacking in the base game, and I hope they expand upon it in Deluge.
